My family needed a getaway that was safe in the context of the pandemic, relatively close to home, and relaxing. Riverside Runaway was exactly what we needed! The house was homey and comfortable, and the close proximity to the water was exceptionally relaxing. We also enjoyed the hot tub very much! We will definitely come back.

We called asking about Georgia opening up after quarantine. The team member was very helpful with her response.

I've lived in Georgia for 25+ years,but this was my first trip to Ellijay, Ga. I enjoyed the tranquility of the cabin setting, next to the running river. Inside the cabin the current state of the art kitchen was a delight, and included any utensil and cooking dish imaginable. For homebodies like me, this was a perfect combination.

We cant imagine staying in a cabin with a better view! Its breathtaking. I found myself up every morning, excited to catch the most gorgeous sunrises Ive ever seen. Listening the birds chirping in the morning and evening, and the sounds of the wind through the trees, was so nice! Loved the hot tub in the evenings, and my husband enjoyed the sauna. We look forward to staying here again!

I did have a question about my brother and his wife coming along (they didn't end up getting to) but when I ask the question I had an answer very quickly.

Would highly recommend! We look forward to returning hopefully in Sept. 2020.
