We really enjoyed our stay at Thistle and Trout. The property was clean and comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for the beginning of our trip. The rooms were large and comfortable, with space to be together or separate. The roads in and the driveway were a little scary the first time, but we adapted quickly. We loved the views of the river and were even able to catch a few fish! We would recommend Thistle and Trout to anyone looking for a stay in the Ellijay area.

The staff that I talked to on the phone were very helpful.

Next time I will come in a better vehicle to get up that mountain! We all had a wonderful time!

Wonderful job!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the cornhole and board games, would definitely recommend including that in the description, we look for it when searching for stays and it made our stay that much better!

We had a fantastic time relaxing and connecting at the Cabin above the Clouds. The views are stunning at the cabin. My party enjoyed the hot tub and spending a lot of time on the back porch. We hope to come back in the future!

We had such a great time! I was definitely glad for our GX 460 because getting up the mountain was a bear! And speaking of bears we had a bear climb onto the deck THREE times! It was amazing! The cabin was lovely, clean, well stocked and comfortable. We will be back..Soon, I hope!

This cabin is AMAZING!!! All of the bedrooms are so pretty and so clean. I love how it comes with the books, board games, and coloring pictures. I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME! Me and my family are definitely coming back again!

This is probably the nicest cabin we have stayed in so far. Real mountain view of the lake, wonderful interior. We were greeted by some deer everyday just across the way. P.S. Harris Public Beach is a nice place to swim in Carter's Lake

We have loved staying in this cabin and it's been super comfortable. I loved how we could look out at the view and see the lake as well as the mountain view. We went to Rock City and it was really cool. We've saw a lot of deer by this cabin.
