Description
Imagine the feeling of being tucked away in 30 acres of private and secluded woods, with nothing but nature all around you. Then as the paved road winds down you end up in front of a "Log Home Magazine" featured cabin, complete with all the bells and whistles of a luxury cabin. Situation directly on the pond, relax in the double swing or one of the several rockers located on both the front and back porch. Gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, two-story stacked stone fireplace in the living room. Located between the towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge, there's plenty of hiking, horseback riding, and water activities to keep you busy for days.
Amenities
Cold Mountain pond is a beautifully decorated 1 bedroom plus loft, 2 bath log home that sleeps up to four (4) people and offers the following:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
Required Fees include $125 Cleaning fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and 13% lodging tax

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. It was beautifully landscaped and the cabin was very inviting. The pond and little waterfall is what drew me to this cabin. It was a very peaceful and calming place. It was easy to get to, not far from the highway. The pictures I sent to family and friends said they would love to stay at this cabin.

Cold Mountain Pond Cabin was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our 10th wedding anniversary. We needed some quiet and alone time together to reconnect and relax. We were able to enjoy our weekend in this quiet, secluded cabin. It reminded us of a fairy tale like Hansel and Gretel. Our only complaint was the bed (uncomfortable). We still highly recommend this cabin to anyone. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to nature and watching the fish and turtles in the pond. We even loved the frog that lived outside the bedroom window each night and croaked all night.

This cabin is in a beautiful setting and we very much enjoyed our stay! Added bonus was the creek with the tiny waterfall outside the bedroom window we had no idea about! Cold Mountain Pond was wonderful. It was totally secluded, didn't know what to expect when driving down into it, and was so pleasantly surprised. Right on a majestic little pond, two great porches, master on main, totally well appointed, just like a lodge style cabin would be. If you want cute, small, warm and inviting, I recommend Cold Mountain Pond.

We loved cold mountain pond cabin! The cabin was centrally located for access to all the amenities the north Georgia mountains has to offer! This area has become our go to destination for getting away from it all. I know we will be back for another visit soon. i anticipate using Blue Sky Rentals for our next visit as well!
