If you're looking for art and excitement all in one, don't forget to check out the Chris Lantz Extreme Sculpting exhibit. Chris Lantz is an internationally acclaimed chainsaw sculptor from right here in North Georgia. His outstanding works are primarily themed after nature and change a simple piece of wood into a beautiful work of art.
Other local artists with booths will include (but not be limited to): Burnt Whisker Forge, which makes beautiful blacksmithing creations; Aplin Artworks, which creates unique stained glass windows; and the unique pieces of Hobson Creek Pottery.
These are just a few of the amazing artisans who will showcase and sell their one-of-a-kind and handmade works at the festivals!
If you're interested in a local sweet treat, why not check out Ginny's Fudge and Nuts? Or, if you're looking for something savory, try Gotta Have It Dips. There will be a number of fantastic local foods at the festival.
Of course, there will be seafood and food trucks on location as well! You won't need to get hungry as you stroll around the fairgrounds and find yourself immersed in everything the North Georgia Highlands Seafood Festival has to offer!
