Blue Ridge is known as a hub for craft beer, with tons of award-winning breweries near our Blue Ridge cabins. After a day of winter hiking, there’s nothing better than having a glass of beer with friends in a cozy pub.

Head to Main Street in Downtown Blue Ridge, where you’ll find breweries lining the street, including Grumpy Old Men Brewing, Fannin Brewing Company, Tipping Point Brewing Co., and Angry Hops Brewing. Each local brewery offers their own spin on craft beer, often rotating specials throughout the month. Downtown Blue Ridge is the epitome of a charming mountain town. It’s full of mom-and-pop shops, antique stores, local eateries, art galleries, and more. There’s nothing more idyllic on a cold winter day than grabbing a cup of coffee and roaming Main Street.

Head to Mountain Mama Coffee first for delicious coffee and pastries. Some of our favorite shops to explore include Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company, Blue Ridge Cotton Company, and Huck’s General Store. Be sure to pop into the many art galleries as well, including High Country Art, which features local artists’ work.

There are plenty of local restaurants in Downtown Blue Ridge to help you finish your day. The Dogwood and The Cantaberry are perfect for casual food, while The Black Sheep offers a more upscale atmosphere.
